However, in other cases, you may have to create Income Tax Payment Challan and submit the tax to the National Bank of Pakistan or through ADC (Alternate Delivery Channels) such as JazzCash. Below, I have explained the procedure of creating the challan and paying the tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Visit the following link: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/e.fbr.gov.pk\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/e.fbr.gov.pk<\/a><\/li><li>Login to your account by entering <strong>Username <\/strong>and <strong>Password<\/strong><\/li><li>Select <strong>e-Payments<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Create Payment <\/strong>-&gt; <strong>Income Tax<\/strong><\/li><li>You will get the <strong>Income Tax e-Payments <\/strong>page.<\/li><li>Select the relevant <strong>Tax Year<\/strong> such as 2022.<\/li><li>In <strong>Tax Payment Nature<\/strong>, select <strong>Admitted Income Tax<\/strong><\/li><li>When you select <strong>Admitted Income Tax<\/strong>, the value in the <strong>Tax Year<\/strong> field may change, so double-check that it is set to 2022. If it shows 2023, then set it again to 2022.<\/li><li>In <strong>Tax Payment Section<\/strong>, select <strong>9203 &#8211; 137 &#8211; Admitted Income Tax<\/strong><\/li><li>In <strong>Amount in Figures<\/strong>, enter the tax amount. Check that <strong>Amount in words <\/strong>is showing the correct amount.<\/li><li>Under <strong>Particulars of Payment<\/strong>, select <strong>Payment Mode. <\/strong>The option available is <strong>ADC (e-payment).<\/strong><\/li><li>In <strong>Amount<\/strong>, enter tax amount.<\/li><li>Now, click <strong>Create<\/strong> button.<\/li><li>A message will be displayed, &#8216;<em>Please review your e-Payment details carefully and click CONFIRM button for confirmation, or click the BACK button to make changes.<\/em>&#8216;<\/li><li>Click <strong>Confirm <\/strong>button<\/li><li><strong>PSID <\/strong>will be displayed on the next page with the following message: &#8216;<em>Your e-payment Slip has been created successfully. Click on the Print button to download PSID on your computer.<\/em>&#8216;<\/li><li>Select your <strong>City<\/strong> from the dropdown list. NBP\/SBP branches in that city will be shown.<\/li><li>Now click the <strong>Print <\/strong>button at the bottom of the page, and save the pdf file on your computer. When you open the pdf file, it will mention &#8216;Income Tax Payment Challan&#8217; as the heading and also indicate the PSID Number.<\/li><li>Now you can use this Payment Challan and PSID Number to make your tax payment. If you selected the Payment Mode ADC (e-payment), you can use the PSID to make payments through JazzCash or in any bank in which you have your bank account.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payment through JazzCash<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Below, I have mentioned how to pay the income tax through JazzCash. The procedure below assumes that you selected <strong>ADC (e-payment)<\/strong> under <strong>Payment Mode <\/strong>while preparing Income Tax Payment Challan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to JazzCash by entering your <strong>Mobile Number<\/strong> and <strong>MPIN<\/strong><\/li><li>Under the <strong>Government Payments<\/strong> section, select <strong>Govt. Payments<\/strong><\/li><li>Select <strong>Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) <\/strong>among the list of companies<\/li><li>Enter <strong>PSID Number<\/strong> and tap the <strong>Right Arrow<\/strong><\/li><li>The next screen will show <strong>Bill Amount, Fee, Bill Company, <\/strong>and<strong> PSID Number <\/strong><\/li><li>Tap <strong>Confirm<\/strong><\/li><li>Enter <strong>MPIN <\/strong>in the text box<\/li><li>A Tax Payment receipt will be shown on the next screen. You can save this receipt on your mobile&#8217;s Gallery.<\/li><li>You will soon receive an email from fbr with the subject line &#8216;<em>e-Payment Confirmation by FBR<\/em>&#8216;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Claim the Paid Tax<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Now Login to your Iris account with your <strong>Registration Number<\/strong> and <strong>Password<\/strong><\/li><li>Select <strong>114(1) (Return of Income filed voluntarily for complete year)<\/strong> from the <strong>Draft <\/strong>and click <strong>Edit<\/strong><\/li><li>Select the <strong>Payment<\/strong> tab<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Plus <\/strong>sign next to <strong>Tax Year<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>CPR Number <\/strong>and <strong>Amount <\/strong>will be shown for the tax payment<\/li><li>Select this entry and close the dialog box.<\/li><li>Now click the <strong>Save <\/strong>button.<\/li><li>Select <strong>Computations <\/strong>under <strong>Tax Chargeable \/ Payments<\/strong><\/li><li>Unpaid tax will still show in <strong>Amount Subject to Normal Tax<\/strong>. Click <strong>Calculate<\/strong><\/li><li>You will see that the <strong>Admitted Income Tax <\/strong>shown under <strong>Amount Subject to Normal Tax<\/strong> column will become zero. You have successfully cleared you tax liability!!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Update<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>In IRIS 2.0, there is a slight change in the <strong>Payment<\/strong> tab. Now there are two sections; Unclaimed Payments and Claimed Payments. When your tax amount is received at fbr, it will be shown in Unclaimed Payments.
