The list shows all income taxpayers who paid their taxes and filed the income tax return before the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you filed the income tax return after the due date and want to be included in the Active Taxpayers&#8217; list, you will have to pay the surcharge for late filing. The surcharge amount is Rs. 1,000 for individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below, I have explained the procedure to pay the surcharge amount of 1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Visit the link <a href=\"https:\/\/e.fbr.gov.pk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/e.fbr.gov.pk<\/a><\/li><li>Enter your <strong>Username<\/strong> and <strong>Password<\/strong> and click <strong>Login<\/strong><\/li><li>Select <strong>e-Payments<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Create Payment<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Income Tax<\/strong><\/li><li>Select the <strong>Tax Year<\/strong> for which you filed after the due date such as 2021<\/li><li>Under <strong>Tax Payment Nature<\/strong>, select <strong>Misc.<\/strong><\/li><li>Check that the <strong>Tax Year <\/strong>field still shows 2021. If it does not, change it from 2022 to 2021.<\/li><li>Under <strong>Tax Payment Section<\/strong>, select <strong>182(A) &#8211; Surcharge for ATL<\/strong><\/li><li>You will also see a message, &#8216;Creation of PSID under this Payment Section is only allowed for Tax Year 2021.&#8217;<\/li><li>Under <strong>Amount in Figures<\/strong>, enter 1000<\/li><li>Under <strong>Mode<\/strong>, select <strong>ADC (e-payment)<\/strong><\/li><li>Enter 1000 in <strong>Amount<\/strong><\/li><li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong><\/li><li>Click <strong>Confirm<\/strong><\/li><li>In the location, select your city<\/li><li>Click <strong>Print<\/strong><\/li><li>Save <strong>Income Tax Payment Challan <\/strong>in pdf format.
