Huey Tum Ajnabi is a romantic film set against the backdrop of the events that led to the separation of Pakistan into East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and West Pakistan in the 1970s. The film is written and directed by Kamran Shahid, the renowned host of a popular current affairs show on Dunya News. Kamran Shahid is also the son of Shahid Hameed, a prominent film actor who is producing the film. Huey Tum Ajnabi marks Kamran Shahid’s directorial debut. The film is scheduled for release on April 21, 2023, to coincide with Eid-ul-Fitr.
