Parizaad is one of the most popular drama series by the Pakistani Entertainment Channel, HUM TV. The drama is written by Hashim Nadeem and directed by Shehzad Kashmiri. It is produced by Momina Duraid Productions. The story is based on a novel and revolves around the main character Parizaad.
Parizaad is a pure heart and a gifted individual but someone who is constantly disregarded and treated poorly by people around him. The drama unfolds an interesting and unconventional story about the struggles of Parizaad as he navigates through his life.
The word ‘Parizaad’ is used in the Urdu language for a handsome, good-looking, and beloved individual. Its literal meaning is the son of a fairy. However, he is depicted with an ugly face and he is unable to impress any girl which increases his inferiority complex.
The drama shows his encounters with beautiful ladies including Naheed, Bubbly Badmash, Lubna, and Annie. However, he does not find the true sight of love in any of these girls. His sister Saeeda is shown as very close to Parizaad and understands his issues well. His interaction with his boss Agha Behroze Karim and Laila Saba is also worth watching.
The story ends when RJ Annie arrives at the same village where Parizaad was hiding. When RJ Annie comes to know that the teacher of the school is Parizaad, she bursts into tears. She tells Parizaad that Sharjeel is just a friend. Parizaad and RJ Annie become reunited and promise to remain good friends.
