Chand Tara is a Pakistani drama serial written by Saima Akram Chaudhry and directed by Danish Nawaz. The show is produced by Momina Duraid Productions and is currently being aired on HUM TV during the month of Ramazan (March-April 2023). The first episode was aired on March 23, 2023, at 9 pm, and subsequent episodes can be watched every day at 9 pm PST on HUM TV.

The story of Chand Tara revolves around Sarim, a software engineer who is fed up with his overpowering joint family and dreams of having some privacy and a calm life. Nain Tara, a doctor, longs for a strong sense of family bonds. The character of Sarim/Chand is played by Danish Taimoor, and the character of Tara is played by Ayeza Khan. It’s worth noting that Ayeza and Danish are also married in real life. The director, Danish Nawaz, has played a character in the drama named Mateen Chacha.

The story takes an interesting turn when the two main characters cross paths, leading to tense, funny, and exciting situations that keep the audience engaged with the entertaining script. Chand Tara features an ensemble cast comprising of Romaisa Khan, Aashir Wajahat, Adnan Jaffer, Saba Faisal, Behroze Sabzwari, Madiha Iftikhar, and Rehan Sheikh. Ayeza Khan’s previous award-winning performance was in the drama serial Chupke Chupke, which was also written by the same writer as Chand Tara. There are high expectations that this drama will also be a super-hit serial for Ayeza Khan. She plays the role of a doctor who is involved in a relationship with a software engineer. It promises to be a real treat to watch.
